Getting a 404 on all new permalinks | WordPress.org

I just installed this plugin and set it to use my pages’ titles as permalinks but I’m getting 404s on all of them. Tried to create a new page to see if this is only a problem with existing pages. The plugin supposedly created the right permalink, but when trying to preview the page from the editor I got to the 404 error page again.
I’m running this website on localhost so I cannot share a link.
Hoping for your help here.

Hi @anatka,

It looks like the .htaccess file with the rewrite rules is not set properly on your local server. Could you try to generate it using the below instructions?

If this does not help, please add “?debug_url=1” to sample permalink generated with my plugin and send me the screenshot with debug data.

Please also keep in mind that the new permalink settings are automatically applied only to new items. To use the new format for existing posts please use “Regenerate & reset” tool:
