  • I have not use either XAMPP nor wpmudev.org myself, however it seems likely that you are confusing the name of the database “WP” with the name of your web server’s wordpress directory which from the photo is “wordpress-4.6”, this directory name and the database are separate and independent, nothing to do with each other.

    First I suggest that you browse to:
    http://localhost/wordpress-4.6/readme.html"
    This should show your WordPress version and some instructions, this shows that your HTML server is running.

    Then browse to:
    http://localhost/wordpress-4.6/wp-admin/install.php" `
    OR whatever your install instructions say.

    Please be aware that you should respect the upper/lower case used in website directory names, you might be OK while you are on windows, but on much of the internet the servers care very much about the distinction.
