# Getting 404

 * Running WordPress 4.1 and installed GoCode 1.3.5
 * Installed the plugin successfully, and added a key. But, the URL gives a 404 
   Not Found. It does not look like the plugin is intercepting the /go/ URL pattern,
   and the local server is responding as “Not Found”.
 * I’ve removed the plugin, and re-activated it, but no luck. I do not see anything
   in the .htaccess file. Is there anything more I need to do to allow this plugin
   to work?

 * I don’t expect the plugin owner to reply, as I haven’t seen any replies to the
   other issues, so I don’t think this plugin is supported.
 * When you install the plugin, make sure you go to your Settings –> Permalinks,
   and save the correct permalink option. For me, it’s the “Post Name” option. (
   The plugin owner should add this to install instructions).
 * If you are still using the “Post Name” permalink option, and it still gives you
   a 404, then just re-save the page. This worked for me.
