 * Hi, we have been having 403 errors on our mainpage since a few days. Restoring
a backup repairs the issue, but it seems to come back every few hours, despite
me having disabled all auto-updates. By renaming the plugins directory I learned
that is must be a plugin. Deducting by deactivating all plugins one-by-one leads
me to the Complainz plugin. I had this problem in the current WP version (6.9)
as well as the previous version. What I do not understand what exactly triggers
the error, since it does not seem to be update dependant. Currently I have 7.4.4.1
installed (but deactivated obviously), but pre-update it showed the same behaviour.
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Fgetting-403-errors-2%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)

 * Hello [@wp_con](https://wordpress.org/support/users/wp_con/) ,
 * Thank you for reaching out.
I am sorry to hear about the issues you are experiencing
   with your main page.
 * Thank you for the troubleshooting steps you have already taken. While identifying
the plugin is a great first step, a **403 Forbidden** error is a generic status
code. To understand exactly _what_ is triggering the block, we need more specific
   details.
 * Could you please check your **server error logs** or share a screenshot of the
error page? Usually, a 403 error is accompanied by a specific reason in the logs(
e.g. REST API getting blocked or a file permission issue). Knowing the exact
error message will allow us to identify why the server is blocking the request
   when Complianz is active.
 * Looking forward to your reply.
   Best regards,Antonio
