# Getting 403 500 Errors for WordPress pages

 * Hi when I try to view my WordPress blog pages I get a 500 Error. when viewing
   a none wordpress page the link is OK.
 * so [http://pixelbolt.co.uk/blog/](http://pixelbolt.co.uk/blog/) doesn’t work 
   but [http://pixelbolt.co.uk/contact.php](http://pixelbolt.co.uk/contact.php) 
   does.
 * in the server error logs I see the error [Wed Sep 30 05:30:16 2009] [error] [
   client 87.81.112.85] Directory index forbidden by Options directive: /home/pixelbol/
   public_html/
 * do you know what might be causing this?

 * 1) check your htaccess code. Is it correct?
    2) Do you have suphp on your server?
   Consult your host 3) Check for proper permissions

 * So I’ve copied the index.php file back in and I can see my pages again. However
   I can’t change the theme it is stuck on the default theme.

   up).
