• Hi,

I got notified by some of my visitors a few days ago that they weren’t be able to use the contact form because it redirect them to our website’s paypal donation site. (I tested it and it’s true)

The form worked fine several months ago since the installation and I haven’t touched its settings ever since.

So I thought it might be because I haven’t updated the plugin from version 3.1.8.2 since the installation.
I just updated it to the latest version and it’s still redirecting me to the paypal site…

Any idea what went wrong? 🙁

  • Try some of these settings one by one to see if any work:
    – disable redirect setting
    – enable redirect, with setting the redirect URL to #
    – enable redirect, with setting the redirect URL to a full URL thank you page with redirect time of 0 seconds

None of those options works 🙁

    I just tested it again and this time with a wrong captcha and surprisingly I got redirected instead of a message about the wrong captcha O_o;

See this post, do you have a custom post type that is the same as a field tag on your form?

    Did that solve it?

    I don’t think so…

It does seems to have something to do with one of my other plugins I installed weeks ago: http://wordpress.org/plugins/olimometer/

The contact form seems to work after I disabled the plugin.

But the paypal plugin is necessary for my site so I can’t delete it 🙁

I don’t see any identical field tags on the settings page.

I have the same problem. Form worked fine until recently. Now each time I press the submit button, it redirects to Paypal. I tried several things suggested above without solving the issue.

    Any suggestions are appreciated

Have you contacted the oliometer author to ask for help with his plugin causing this problem?

As a test I deactivated all plugins on my website, except for “Fast Secure Contact Form”. The submit button still redirects to Paypal. I assume then that this is not a conflict with another plugin.

I also tested it from different computers and different locations. Same issue on all.

Could this be based on the Theme, a virus or ?

    Appreciate any input and help

    Hi,

I’m the developer of the Olimometer plugin, and I can’t seem to find any correlation or conflict between the two plugins. I’ve installed the Fast Secure Contact Form on a test site alongside the Olimometer and they both appear to work correctly in that environment. I’m in the process of setting up a new ‘clean’ WordPress installation so I can go through it in detail.

    Oli

Also, to help me with my tests, can you please let me know which theme you are using (assuming it is not a custom-made one) and a list of the other plugins you have activated?

I don’t have Olimometer installed. As for the theme, I am using Atahualpa.
