Gets Error when uploading Images

    Hi Everyone,

    I am new to WordPress.

    I am currently helping out my friend to build his website using WordPress.
    He set me up a Account (Administrator use) and I am trying to upload images to Library or in the post.

    But when I try, I either get Error message saying something like:
    I couldn’t upload the image to /home/**********/public_html/wp-content/uploads/2009/06. Do you have the authority to upload a image to this directory?

    Is this mean, I need to ask my friend to set something on his server so I can have the authority to upload images? (* I CAN upload text).

    BTW, he isusing Atahualpa for template.

    Any support will be appreciated!
