gethostbyname does not resolve dns query in function bb2_httpbl

    I installed this great plugin, and see how some bots are getting blocked, however the http:BL validation against the project honey pot service is not working, function gethostbyname() does not resolve and return always the query value. I have a valid Access Key, I have service with Bluehost and my website is running on Apache. Any clues of what the problem might be.
