  • To clarify, I added the custom code in below the following code in single.php:

    <div class="entry-content">
    <?php
    	do_action( 'et_before_content' );

    	the_content();

    	wp_link_pages( array( 'before' => '<div class="page-links">' . esc_html__( 'Pages:', 'Divi' ), 'after' => '</div>' ) );
    ?>
    </div> <!-- .entry-content -->

    I’ve cleared all caches, and now receive a 500 internal server error.

    debug.log displays:

    PHP Notice: wpdb::escape is deprecated since version 3.6.0! Use wpdb::prepare() or esc_sql() instead. in /home/doigc349/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 3838
