 * Hi all,
 * I am sending content to an API. My site is translated in English, Spanish and
   Deutsch. The default language is English, therefore the page/post content is
   in English. How can I get the translated version with Weglot when I send the
   content across please?
 * Thank you.

 * Hi [@glx77](https://wordpress.org/support/users/glx77/), thank you for getting
   back to me.
 * I get it but I just want to retrieve the translated post content not the entire
   page / HTML. I guess I would need to use a function to get the translated post
   content?

 * Hi [@xorknightmlp](https://wordpress.org/support/users/xorknightmlp/) ,
 * in fact, Weglot does not work like that. we do not translate the posts. We parse
   the html content, to extract the strings to translate that we save on our side.
   In fact, there is no function that will allow you to retrieve the translated
   version of a post without the html
 * Best

 * It makes sense now. Thank you for your help.
