get title separator in PHP

    Is there a way to get the title separator via PHP that is set in the “Titles & Metas” settings page in Yoast?

    At the bottom of that article, it mentions that the wpseo_separator_options filter “receives an array.” Does that array by any chance hold the separator currently set in the options? That is the only solution in the current version that I can think of. I was just hoping I could use the same separator in programmatically set or overriden titles in case that separator is ever changed in the yoast settings.
