Get tabbed menu right of slider

    I’m not getting the fancy tabbed menu (with thumbnails) to the right of the slide. What I get is what looks like a widget area with archives and meta widgets but nothing shows up in Dashboard -> Widgets -> Main Sidebar

    Clean install. Default Nivo slider.

    Rather counter-intuitive but is seems that archives and meta show up in the right sidebar as default (i.e. no widgets choosen).

    To get the tabbed menu as seen in demo, you need to add that widget to the main sidebar. Then archives and meta go away.
