So I was told to use this plugin to stage a clone of a site to troubleshoot a week ago and what do I see but a huge banner ad at the top of my dashboard when I logged in. Very annoying because it takes up half of my screen.

How do I disable this? The last place I want to see an obnoxious thing like this is when I walk in the door to work, give us a break fellas

    Hello @art137

    What is the banner saying?
Usually we do not show any banners that are not closeable. If it’s about the blue colored rating banner in the staging site admin dashboard, you can close it permanently.

I am going to make it less obtrusive with the next update.

Thank you for the heads up and your feedback.

You can also contact me directly at rene[at] if the closing button does not work.

Thanks for being so quick, It loads whether you’re in the staging site or the mother site dashboard. I could understand maybe once or twice but not on every page or when reloading the page. There’s no “x” it button so you’re forced to click on one of the options. I’m an honest guy and can’t say I already did something when I didn’t and I’m not going to click on the one that says “no I don’t like it” when I do so here I am. Guys like me that build websites know a quality plugin when we see it and we don’t need a “landing page” to encourage us to buy it. (I call it a landing page because of the video ;-)) We know where you are. Years ago this wasn’t even allowed or you didn’t see it, many even thought that it was unethical because after all, it is a free use platform. But these days it seems everybody and the brother have made this platform a marketing ‘free for all’ and there’s a lot of us who are sick of it. Some of the plugins just don’t stop even after you buy them. Don’t get me wrong it’s a great plugin and I don’t mean to make you my whipping post but I think I speak for 90% of us pros out here when I say we’re sick of it and you guys don’t need to market us. We are the warmest market you got and we know a good thing when we use/see it. Thanks for the soapbox I’ll go away now…:-)

BTW It did go away after I got here from clicking on it…maybe a bit premature but it was huge covering 40% of the page ans it follows you throughout the back end…lmao
