# Get post content, only text

 * Hi!
    First, sorry for my poor English ! I want to get the content or the excerpt
   for each post in post list and I use the DIVI theme with page builder. Each post
   page contains sidebar element and one text element with the post description.
   How can I get THIS description and not all the content? I get posts using `query_posts(
   $args);` but `the_content();` display everything and not just the description…
