I’ve been a long time user of popup maker on a large multisite network. I’m really happy with the fact that you moved themes into a separate custom post type because it makes it much easier to sync themes across a network.

From my testing, popup maker is compatible with the awesome “Broadcast” plugin which allows super admins to sync content across their entire multisite network. The only problem is with the selected theme. The Pop-up is looking for theme by it’s Post ID. If the matching ID isn’t found it falls back to the default theme.

When you broadcast popups and popup themes the slugs stay the same, but the Post IDs change.

I know there aren’t necessarily many of us out there, but I believe if you would change the fallback to do something like POSTID->POSTSLUG->DEFAULT you’d be fully compatible with multisite sync using Broadcast.

    Thanks for the consideration

@dberdal – We have considered that and a few other methods there, but to be honest it won’t work. Theme names, like pages & posts can be changed, IDs cannot. Really I’m surprised that the broadcast plugin doesn’t use its own id system to link them between installs.

If it does you can use our many filters to set the correct popup theme id for each popup.

Hope that helps. If your issue is resolved please take a moment to rate and review the plugin or support.
