# Get PDF Field Names

 * I am setting this up and it’s working quite well… however, my PDF has a number
   of strangely named fields that I’m trying to link to my form, and it will take
   a great deal of time if I have to guess with the field names.
 * Is there a free way to get the fillable field names of a PDF so that I don’t 
   have to guess? Thanks.

 * You can edit the PDF (in a PDF editor) and change the field names to something
   that makes sense.

 * I don’t have Adobe Developer… nor can I afford to buy it. So I need something
   that can take a PDF that already exists and give me the field names. I only have
   Reader. I didn’t create the PDF.
