I am attempting to calculate sin, cos and tan using your calculator plugin. (Awesome plugin BTW!)

Currently I am trying to get a reverse tan angle which means I need to raise my calculation to -1 and I cant figure out how to get it to work.

    I have ” POW(prec(tan(fieldname2 / fieldname6),6),-1) ” which gives me the wrong answer. Sample data= Opposite length=3, Adjacent length=4 should come back with 42.97.

I know that I’m not a mathematician but could certainly use your help.

    Thanks in advance

    Hello @elitewebservices,

I guess you are talking about the arctan, however, javascript return the result in radians and you should convert them to degrees, so, the equation would be similar to:

    ATAN(fieldname2 / fieldname6)*(180/PI)

    Best regards.
