# Geocoding “auto correcting”

 * Hello!
    We have a problem with our instance of EPL. Everything works fine – and
   we where able to build a highly customised instance. Recently we discovered a
   weird behaviour. If we are changing the longitude/latitude for an existing entry,
   the changes are staying for ~ 10 minutes, then are jumping back to the original
   values. I doublechecked, the initial changes are actually SAVED in the database.
   And there is not a caching issue, when in the frontend we see the old values 
   again, these are back in the backend – and the database also. I am clueless right
   now. anyone have an idea what might be the cause?

 * Ensure you have display address ticked.
 * When its not ticked it defaults to not geolocating by street and street number
   to maintain the no address display and keeping the exact address private.

 * Mistery solved!!
    So it is a feature, not a bug 😉 Yes, I can confirm, that this
   fixes the behavior (or, more precisely, exhibits the default behavior). Thanks,
