 * Hi Chris,
    Is it possible to disable Geocoding ? This feature does not appear
   to be GDPR compliant. Regards.

 * Hi,
 * Do you mean “geolocation”, i.e. finding the user on the map?
 * I don’t mind adding a checkbox to disable that, but it might be easier to just
   include it in your privacy policy and let users accept it to access the site.

 * Hi Chris,
 * Including a statement in the Privacy Policy does not relieve the need to block
   IP collection prior to the user’s explicit consent.
 * So the simplest solution to improve compliance would be to add an option to completely
   disable geolocation.
 * Regards.

 * Hi,
 * There’s no geolocation unless the user manually presses the ‘my location’ button
   above the map zoom controls.
 * If you block access to the site with an overlay before the privacy policy is
   accepted, that button can’t be pressed. Am I missing something?

 * When you want to calculate a direction with Google Map, the location of the visitor
   is not automatically transmitted to Google if the input mapp-dir-saddr is not
   filled?

 * Hi,
 * No, the plugin doesn’t geolocate in that case, Google does. Google Maps geolocates(
   on their site) if the source address is blank.
