• I just wanted to advise you that I had one of my sites hacked and I narrowed it down to the Genesis Slider Plugin version 0.9.6. The plugin admin.php and plugin.php were involved. They added a “eval(base64_decode” script code to the beginning of both files.

So far I haven’t found any other files affected in any other plugins. Just wanted to let you know in case it helps.

When you site is hacked, the affected files are rarely the method the hacker used to gain access. That would be more or less like the perpetrator of a crime leaving their ID at the crime site.

I suggest you follow standard practices after being hacked and change all your passwords and ensure that all passwords are different.
