Genesis Simple Edits 2.1.1 doesn’t work on a site created with InfiniteWP by cloning another site.

After cloning I installed Genesis Simple Edits on both sites, then edited the footer. The footer changed on the first site but not on the clone.

I deactivated and deinstalled Genesis Simple Edits, then switched themes to Twenty Fifteen for a minute then back to Genesis 2.1.2 / Dynamik 1.6, then reinstalled and reactivated Simple Edits. The previous changes still showed in the footer in Simple Edits. I hit Save Settings (although I had made no changes). In the front end, the footer was unchanged – the footer of the original source site before the clone.

    What should I do?

    Thank you.

Probably the only place you are going to get help is from the InfiniteWP folks.
