genesis framework (please help me on this)

hi im new to that frame work. im trying to build a child theme out of it but i get this error. what is that? “Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_REQUIRE_ONCE in /home/geekomat/public_html/wp-content/themes/renew church child/functions.php on line 1”
