• I am extremely new to all this with my first site.

I have the Genesis Framework with the Lifestyle Pro theme running. I have been looking all over for a solution to this problem. On my homepage I can not get my featured post images to size correctly into the boxes for this widget(Genesis Featured Posts). I tried to resize the thumbnail image of this post: Supermarket Melt-down (look under Challenges header, left side down a bit from top of home page). As you can see the image is smaller and sort of fits, but does not go with the rest of the layout. How do I change things so the images fit correctly, and all look similar in the layout? Thanks so much for your help!

  • If you use a commercial theme or plugin and need support, please go to their official support channel. In order to be good stewards of the WordPress community, and encourage innovation and progress, we feel it’s important to direct people to those official locations.

Forum volunteers are also not given access to commercial products, so they would not know why your commercial theme or plugin is not working properly. This is one other reason why volunteers forward you to the commercial product’s vendors. The vendors are responsible for supporting their commercial product.

Matthew, thank you for responding. I appreciate your reply and understand why you would say what you did. However, I did contact Genesis, but turns out that since I purchased the framework and theme as a bundle from the person who set up my blog, they are not willing to offer help. I really want my site to look great and I just can’t seem to understand the image sizes and how they relate to how the thumbnails show up on my home page. Any help on image sizes would be greatly appreciated, even if it isn’t directly about the featured post widget from Genesis. Thanks!

You may want to edit the images offline and then upload them with a new name specifying what their use is. Look at the theme to see if it tells you what size to use for the featured images. It looks like it is resizing them to 266×166.
