  • It’s probably your theme overriding the line height. A fast way to check is to change your theme to one of the defaults and see if the line goes away.

    How familiar are you with inspecting elements in your browser?

    If you mean going to Firefox Web Developer Extension CSS I do that all the time. If you mean something else then I’m not doing it. I’ve had this problem in the past and have solved it in the past but for the life of me can’t figure it out this time.

    Yep 🙂

    So what the issue is, is that you have a link wrapped around it so the link, which has a text-decoration, is doing it.

    You have this:

    #social-icons a i {
    padding-left: 20px;
    padding-left: 1.42857143rem;
    text-decoration: none;
    vertical-align: bottom;
    }

    You need this:

    #social-icons a {}

    The i is throwing it off 🙂
