# GENERIC_DECLINE

 * Hi!
    We have a problem, our client can’t make payment. In the admin area I see
   the error – “Square Payment Failed (Status code GENERIC_DECLINE: Authorization
   error: ‘GENERIC_DECLINE’) Order status changed from Pending payment to Failed.”
   Can you help, how resolve this issue?

   is this only a specific payment or customer experiencing this issue or is it 
   any payment you attempt on this site?
