• I’m helping a non-profit with setting up WP.
I’ve got everything working as far as I can tell, but I am having trouble with the rss generation.
I’ve used the examples given in the documentation and in the default template. I still can’t get an rss file.
The URL I get looks something like this.
    http://www.example.org/blog/feed/rss2/
Problem is that when I put that into my bloglines.com account I’m told no feed exists, and going to the page directly gives me 404.

  • the rss file is actuallly example.com/wordpress/wp-rss2.php
Your .htaccess rewrite may not be proper.

I had the same problem today.
Make sure you have a .htaccess in your wp directory and insert the text in the bottom field on the Options>Permalinks page.
