# Generatepress Free

 * The menu suddenly disappeared from the site after 18 months.
 * However by deduction I found it will work above the header, but it won’t work
   below the header.
 * Any assistance would be welcome.

 * Disabled the Header/Footer element and the menu was placed correctly.
    Activated
   the Header/Footer element once more and was still problematic. Noted there was
   an update to the element and now all works as intended.
