Hi Jordy, I just purchased this plugin (actually I purchased the set). It works great for all images in posts, but I can’t get it to work for the featured image. It’s driving me nuts. I have disable the featured image for the moment, so you won’t be able to see what I’m talking about. I thought I’d ask before I make the site look terrible again while I try to fix this problem. Maybe you have come across this before? I’m using GeneratePress?

I will drop the GP guys a line too.

    Cheers

    Hi,

Please let me know what they said. The plugin works fine with any “modern” code, so it should be fine. They should be using src-set, make sure they do.

All good Jordy, the problem was a combination of my own misunderstanding and a caching plugin adding further confusion. Its was acting up in the customiser.

So, replying to close this off. I don’t want anyone stumbling across it thinking there is a problem with GeneratePress, it is an awesome theme. Most definitely using “modern” code. If I understand this a little better now, src-set is actually part of core WP, right? So a theme would have to be doing something odd to override it? Anyway, GP is using it.

    Thanks again

Src-set is part of generating the images within a post, but the theme or other plugins (gallery, sliders, etc…) actually don’t always use it 🙂
