Generated Link not downloading file to computer

    I am having trouble with The Simple File Downloader plugin. When I Generate Download link, the link just opens in another tab of my browser rather than downloading the file to my computer. This happens in Chrome and Safari but not in Firefox.

    How do I get it to download to my computer and not open up in a browser window.

    I tried to recreate your issue in Chrome but it’s working fine on my end.
    However, I’m glad you already sorted out your issue with another plugin.
