Generate wrong translated main page url

I like this plug !

When I start to use it, I find out that the main page url of my website becomes wrong, for example:

It should be joytripper.com/zt, but it translates to joytripper.com//zt, “//zt” looks very strange.

The other problem is that when I navigate from this page https://joytripper.com/a-practical-guide-to-shanghai-pudong-airport-pvg-navigating-like-a-local/de/ back to main page by clicking the top left corner logo, it creates a wrong url https://joytripper.com/de/de/, which makes the main page could not be found. Ideally iy should be the translated main page url as https://joytripper.com/de

I have tried different setting options in my own wevbsite, but all do not solve the problem.
