Generate Thumbnails does nothing

    As of the current WP 3.2.1 release at least no thumbnails/featured images are assigned when you using the Admin /Setting/Auto Post Thumbnail option to Generate Thumbnails.

    It processes to 100% – reports 62 thumbnails generated but no new thumbnails appear to be generated.
