First off, any help is appreciated!

Is it possible to limit invoice creation to only some orders, based on shipping and/or payment method?

My client doesn’t need proper invoices for customer who come to pick up locally, since they get a receipt from his cash register.

Although we do not have a setting for your specific need, we can write a code snippet to achieve it, if you have a valid license for either the Professional extension or the bundle subscription, as part of the premium support, and free of extra charges.
