    1) – Can we simultaneously have this plugin installed while using the “Insert Headers and Footers” plugin found at “https://wordpress.org/plugins/insert-headers-and-footers/

    NOTE: The “Insert Headers and Footers” plugin has the GA Code snippet inserted in it.

    It looks like…

    <!-- Global site tag (gtag.js) - Google Analytics -->
    <script async src="https://www.googletagmanager.com/gtag/js?id=UA-123456789-1"></script>
    <script>
      window.dataLayer = window.dataLayer || [];
      function gtag(){dataLayer.push(arguments);}
      gtag('js', new Date());

      gtag('config', 'UA-123456789-1');
    </script>

    ===================

    2) – If we remove DE-activate this plugin, will it remove the UA-XXXXXXX google analytics code from the website?

    ===================

    3) – Can this plugin be used simultaneously with other “Google Analytics” plugins without conflict ?

    We ask because we want to test them all out on the same site concerning how and what their visual dashboards will display.

    ===================

    4) – How long will it take for the Google Analytics to take affect and to display the results with your plugin ?

    Thanks in advance

    Look forward to your reply.

    Glad to help:

    1) I do not know, have not tested that particular plugin. Note however that either way, it is recommended to add your GA tracking code only once per page.

    2) If you deactivate this plugin, any code that it was adding will no longer be added.

    3) I don’t know, I have not tested with other GA plugins. Never thought that anyone would need to use more than one.

    4) As explained several times throughout the plugin settings and documentation, it usually takes Google anywhere from 24-48 hours before collected data will appear in your Google account.

    Which method is better to use…

    Universal Analytics ?

    or…

    Global Site Tag ?

    It’s entirely your call, depending on factors like SEO goals, which data you want to collect, and so forth. If any doubts, check the Google docs and/or just go with the default option.
