Hi @jdaniel,
can you please re-post your URL (or open a new thread with the field “Link to the page you need help with:” filled with your URL). There was a misunderstanding and your URL got moderated … Thank you!
All the best,
Torsten
Hi jdaniel,
thanks for reaching out.
Your site looks very clean at the first glance. Starting at the homepage leaves me clueless about what to do, though. As a visitor, I don’t know what most of the items in the main field will do. I have to click on the “Nachhaltigkeit” ad without knowing what awaits me and finally see a list of company logos without a description why should I click on any of them.
I would check out how users enter the page and if the items that might interest them most are placed where they see them. You have very different offers, like databases, your magazine, articles, and ads and very often it is not clear from the links or banners, if these are internal or external offers. That might lead to accidental clicks on the ads or they just get ignored and users might leave confused.
Something on your mobile site is causing it to be too wide to fit. I tested with a screen width of 375px.
The sticky ad on the right of the main content is a bit too high, so that the close button is covered by the top of the screen. You can add some margin at the top of the banner using the “Margin” option in the ad settings.
I hope this helps
Thomas
Thanks, Thomas! Great analysis, that was helpful!
