# General Settings – Server IP

 * Just checking my settings in LiteSpeed Cache general settings.
 * It asks for Server IP. The auto option gives me 77.72.1.24
    This is also the 
   same server IP that it states on my hosting dashboard. However, my only concern
   is if I put that IP into a web browsers, it doesn’t take me to the homepage. 
   It comes up with an error instead.
 * Should it go to the homepage? Perhaps, its another IP I need or its hidden somehow?

 * no , just use the IP you got on your domain
 * yes, it could be normal that IP doesn’t go to site but goes to error page.
