# General Settings: Remove version tag

 * Hi,
    I’m using Schema & Structured Data for WP & AMP on several of my websites.
   I noticed a new option “Remove Version Tag” in the general settings, right under“
   Comments”. I can’t find anything in the documentation regarding this checkbox.
   What does it do exactly? Remove the version tag from what? Thanks for your help.

 * In the source code, It will remove version number. Recently it was added and 
   sure we will add documentation on that.
