Is it possible to not show related listings? Our clients do not want us to show their competitors plus some of the related listings are not related, for example, a grocery store shows up on a restaurant listing.

Our sales reps are selling the initial listings so we are not showing the “add listing” on our menus, but we want the clients to then be able to update or edit their own listings. We would like to see them login to do this. Is this possible?

Is it possible to not show all of the categories at the top of the page when you click on a specific listing?

At the moment our business directory page looks nothing like the rest of our site. Is there CSS to set the colors for the page?

Is there documentation to show us how to add a custom field? We need to be able to show both landline phone numbers and cell numbers, for example, plus we would like to show the hours for restaurants.

Is there any way to include images for the Special Offers field? We would like to show a coupon that the visitor can print.

Hi,

1) you can check settings in GeoDirectory > Design > Detail > Related Post Settings.

2) you will need the Claim Listings add-on for that: https://wpgeodirectory.com/downloads/claim-listings/

3) it’s a widget, you can just remove it in appearance > widgets

4) there is no backend option to set CSS, you can use a plugin or better write css https://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/customizing-your-style/

Thanks for the quick response. The $150 membership states in several places that it includes “all add-ons” but the one you showed above for business hours says it’s not included in membership, so what does “all add-ons” mean?

all official add-ons that we developed. That is a 3rd party plugin developed by another developer, who is selling it through our website.

Thank for your quick and helpful support. One question. Can you tell me if this directory is GeoDirectory – http://www.kwiklick.co.za/. For some reason they will not respond to me. Also, if it is yours, I need to create a bilingual FAQ section similar to theirs. Is this possible?

This will tell you what it is used and yes it appears that GD is powering that website.

Their FAQ section appear to be a normal page, you could do it multilanguage with WPML plugin.
