 * Hi,
 * For several months, I’ve experienced **reduced performance** in my WordPress
   installation. I can’t really remember when the performance issues started, but
   I like to think it started when I upgraded from the 2.0.x branch to 2.1.x. I’ve
   also upgraded to the latest version, but the performance issues remains.
 * This is what I’ve tried so far:
    - Fixing tables in the database (optimize, repair, analyze, etc.)
    - Running the default theme
    - Deactivated all the plugins
    - Running the queries directly in phpMyAdmin
    - Simple manual debugging of the code
 * I somewhat believe that the problem relies in the processing of data, since the
   same query that’s generated by WordPress runs a lot faster through phpMyAdmin.
 * I’ve ran out of ideas for further debugging, so any hints or tips would be highly
   appreciated. What is the best way to debug a WordPress installation?
 * My WordPress installation contains about 600 posts and 3000 comments. If neccessary,
   further information can be delivered. The installation is also visible on my
   website, [http://www.bekkelund.net/](http://www.bekkelund.net/).
 * Best regards,
 * Martin Bekkelund, Norway
