I have a menu comprised of 4 pages and I want to add 3 post categories (3,4,5).
Is there a way to use wp_list_categories and have the display order be 4, 3, 5?
I use <?php wp_list_categories(‘include=4,3,5’); ?>
Also, I get the word Categories (non-link) and a line break in the menu line. How can I get rid of it?
I.E. My menu looks like this (CAPS are links, lower case is not)
HOME – ABOUT – categories
– COMMENT – EXCERPT – CONTACT
Any help/ideas would be great.
Why not create a custom menu instead?
I have 4 menus I want to use. I thought custom menu was a one shot deal.
No. I’ve created themes/sites with up to 15 different custom menus.
I was using this Creating Horizontal Menus as it looks easy to implement. My CSS is all plugged in and everything.
My big issue is getting rid of the “categories” text. I can manage the rest.
Thanks for the suggestion, I’ll keep digging…
FYI – added parameter “style=none” and that killed the categories text and fixed my issue. I can live with the items being displayed in the wrong order.
Works great now.
