    Hi,
    is there any way to make this plugin gdpr compliant? Like inserting a confirmation checkbox which has to be checked in order to subscribe and log the subscribers data with automatic deletion a year later? Or any form of hook possible for said functionality?

    I would like to see this feature, too.
    I don’t want to use a complete newsletter plugin or service for e-mail subscriptions of new posts, so your plugin seems perfect – if it could be used in a gdpr compliant way.
