  • Geek of the month… hmm… don’t you think you should put a field for their website too in the submission form. After all, all geeks have websites that they are proud of.

Thanks for the input, it’s well taken. But I figure why not let them share their website if they are pasionate for it? I don’t mind linking. Share the love ya know… 🙂

Ha, I miss-read your post my bad. Now I gottcha. Late night…. And yes, that is a great idea! I’ll have to add that soon! lol!

Well I added the website field under our submission form. I’d really appreciate some more feedback from some of you wordpress masters. What do you think? Let me know! 🙂 http://www.geekofthemonth.com

I’m not usually partial to black backgrounds. People usually use a lot of red type and it blurs out. I think you’ve found a good color combination though. The font type and the colors work well together.

Thank you. I appreciate the compliments. We are trying so hard to drive traffic to the site. We are getting about 70 NEW visits a day. Please tell your friends! Also, if you know of anyone that has an interesting article or post, or idea to write about please let us know! Remember if you are “Geek” for something (have a passion for something) you should share that passion with others!

Kick ass site. I like the simplicity and the design. the Colors work well together also. I’ll have to make a submission to be come the next geek of the month.

any more comments would be appreciated, good or bad…

Holy Cow they were on OSNews.com!

    very cool

Commenters IP addresses…oddly they match with either the comment made before (top anon) or the comment made after (the other two).

    The color scheme works well.

podz, nothing odd about the matching IPs 😉

great idea for a site, only one thing that seems odd is the random snowflake in the top left corner of every page, i’m in netscape 7 so maybe that’s why i see it. did you put in a script with snow or something that only works in ie?

Hmm.. been having issues with the snow flake script.

As far as the IP address, the most recent ones were made at a New Years Eve Bash. Along with a lot of these people are at internet cafe’s
