GDPR Consent Field causing registration error

    Hi there,

    we were experiencing critical issues with the plugin as users were not able to register for our workshops. I’ve tried everything I know to do in such situations. Deactivated all of the plugins, removed extra code I’ve added, etc. What eventually fixed the problem for now, was to deactivate the GDPR consent field. Now registrations are possible. However, we need this consent field to keep legal standards.

    Could you help us with this problem?

    Is the problem occurring with the form found on this page?

    And you mentioned that the issue occurs only when the checkbox field that shows the link with this text is included?

    “Ich erkläre mich damit einverstanden, dass die hier von mir freiwillig eingegebenen Daten entsprechend der Datenschutzerklärung des MPZ Dresden verarbeitet und gespeichert werden.”

    Would it be all right if I test a submission? I’ll see if I can determine what might be going on and go from there.

    hi Craig, thanks for reaching out so quickly. Yes, exactly it’s on the single event pages just like the one you chose and only if I enable the check box field with the GDPR consent. Feel free to try it out. Do you need me to switch on the check box field for that?

    Yes let’s start with turning that field on so I can give it a test. Just enable it and let me know and I’ll check within a few hours if it’s done during the day for a US timezone.
