    Hello!
We love your PlugIn and use it on our homepage.
Now, we are trying to get our site GDPR compliant – and for this we are using the german plugin “Real-Cookie-Banner”. Real Cookie Banner itself can block the embeds correctly (see screenshot and consent-original attributes below). The problem is, Real Cookie Banner’s scripts – which are responsible to “unblock” the videos once a consent is given – are not enqueued. Unfortunately, your plugin does not provide any filters so that Real Cookie Banner can not inject / enqueue custom scripts.
Could you please implement those missing filters or actions, in order to allow developers to enqueue custom scripts into your custom HTML output?

I’d be happy for any positive answer.
    Thank you very much.

Our plugin has 2 player types. I see that you are using our “Iframe” player type.

    Solution #1:

Kindly go to the “Video Gallery => Settings” menu from your WordPress Admin Dashboard, change the “Player Type” to “JavaScript”, save the changes and check now.

    Solution #2:

Our plugin comes with a built-in cookie consent mechanism. So, kindly exclude the embeds from your cookie plugin and use the feature that comes from our plugin.

You can enable the GDPR consent mechanism from our plugin under the “Video Gallery => Settings => Privacy (tab)”.

    Note:

I promise that our next version would have an action hook that allows you to add custom scripts to our player when using the “Iframe” player type.

    Hope this helped you!

    Hi,
thank you for your quick answer, which sounds good. I’ll check and come back to report if solution#1 works.
Solution #2 won’t work, cause we have videos outside the gallery as well.
When do you plan to release the next version?

Our next version be released in the middle of November. Kindly let me know if the Solution #1 didn’t work. So, we can get you a patch with a relevant hook.

    Hi,
yes – turning on “JavaScript” looks like to be a solution.
No need for a patch right now.
    Thanx a lot!!!

Nevertheless, looking for the upcomming version in November with an action hook…
