    Hello,
I read in the comments that there might be a checkbox to comply with GDPR soon. Great news! Because I use this plugin a lot on different websites and I wouldn’t want to go looking for a new one to comply.

Now I also have a question regarding GDPR. When I checked for cookies and which plugins produce cookies (and what kind of cookies) I found out that Testimonial Basic is producing cookies when first visiting a site and they don’t go away when I deny cookies in the cookiebanner.

My knowledge of PHP is limited but if you would by willing to give me some information about what the plugin collects with this PHPSESSID cookie? What does it do? Is it a temporary cookie which is removed after I leave the site or ….?

    With kind regards,

    Ellen

The current version of Testimonial Basics uses session variables to store captchas, that is all.

The new version uses a different system, so there should be no problem.

The new version will be released by the middle of May, I am in the final testing phase.
