GD supports Avif but ImageMagick doesn’t

I just received a php update in my Plesk, which supports GD Avif (WP site health / Media confirms it). However it seems that Modern Image Formats defaults to ImageMagick if both it and GD are installed. Is it possible for it to check Avif support in both and fallback to either if only 1 supports it?
