GD Star Rating one multi-set keeping two different scores in different locations

Can someone please guide me in the right direction with the multi-set feature in the Gd Star Rating please.

The question, when you create a multi-set and lets say you add it to a post, and then you insert it in a page, for some reason the rating scores are different in the post and on the page.

Should they be linked? or having the same multi-set in different locations then creates two separate voting areas? Is that just the way things should work or am I missing something?
