# GD for PHP

 * Anybody know what GD for PHP is and how I install it on my server? I’ve got iPowerWeb
   hosting, and I’m trying to use the Exhibit plug-in.

 * GD is a graphics library to work with images on the server.

   PHP4 and greater usually comes compiled with GD2, if not, here’s the the info

   I’d first ask your host.

 * I have Ipower as my host and gd was already installed but if it’s not on your
   server just ask them and they will fix it. They’re really good for that.
