    Hi Guys,

    If you look at my site http://kristabrashear.com, you will see that I uploaded a banner. The size is 931 x 174. Why is it so small on my website. I uploaded it directly under Gazette Themes. Also, how do I change that background from that gray color to a different color? I know this is problem an easy solution, but I am new to WordPress. Please help 🙂 Thanks.

  • It looks like your theme has used a thumbnail of the image, rather than the full-sized image.

    This is the code the image is currently using:

    <img alt="KristaBrashear.com" src="http://kristabrashear.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/kristabrashearbanner-300x56.jpg">

    You can see at the end of the image link… the size is 300×56.

    If you have access to this link, just remove the ending… like this:

    <img alt="KristaBrashear.com" src="http://kristabrashear.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/kristabrashearbanner.jpg">

    This is your full-sized image… and looks great when you make the adjustment 😉

    Thank you Josh. I went to my ftp and changed the name there. Now, nothing is showing up. Is there a better way to access the link?

    Well, can you delete it and re-upload your original?

    If so, along the way, keep an eye out for a setting that is inserting a thumbnail rather than the full-size.

    Thank you! I did it! Thank you thank you thank you Josh! 🙂

    My other question was about the background. Is there a way to change that? Maybe under style.css? Im not totally sure.

    thank you 🙂

    No worries 🙂

    The background of what, exactly?
