# Gateway timeout 504

 * Hi,
    When I click update product after minute or more I get 504 error gateway
   timeout. I can’t also deactivate other plugins when WC is active. I checked all
   plugins by switching off one by one. I changed layout, tried older version of
   WC, I have WP classic editor. My current theme based on Divi. In status check
   WC shows Apache server but I’m sure that my hosting using nginx. Thats logs from
   debug.log: “PHP Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 300 seconds exceeded in
   jumitex.pl/wp-includes/Requests/Transport/cURL.php on line 441” “2020-12-01T21:
   54:41+00:00 CRITICAL Maximum execution time of 700 seconds exceeded in jumitex.
   pl/wp-includes/Requests/Transport/cURL.php on line 163”

 * 504 gateway timeout errors are usually caused by some issue on the server-level.
   I’d therefore recommend contacting your host, as they’ll be in a good position
   to troubleshoot further with you.
