I hope you’re doing well!

I wonder if I can use this to require use info before letting them download and/or see pdf.

If you mean that you wish to have user’s info, then yes, you can create a custom text type field on the form, beside the default available fields, that can be submitted.

I would also need to be able to configure the notifications of the download ideally as discrete entry in the shortcode.

Forminator comes with notification option, you can set to receive notifications after each submission.

Simply create a form and open “Email Notifications” tab and add an email address.

Otherwise, all submissions can be found from the back end, from Forminator > Submissions. Submissions I’m afraid can’t be placed on the front end with a shortcode, out of the box.

Different assets are from different companies so I cannot use one form for all.
